Should I return my OnePlus Nord 5 due to issues with the device?

I ordered a OnePlus Nord 5 expecting the EU firmware version, but instead, I received the global one. To make matters worse, the phone was already activated two weeks before I even placed my order. When I reached out to the seller—a registered company despite their headquarters being in a remote area—they explained that it's normal to randomly select a device, power it on to check if it works, then repackage it. I'm also facing a concerning issue with high SystemUI activity that drains my battery up to 1,000 mAh in 24 hours. I'm worried that there might be some spyware or malware on the phone that could lead to financial theft or even blackmail. I performed a factory reset, but I'm still feeling paranoid about keeping it. Should I just return it and get the correct model, or is it safe to keep? What can I do if there really is spyware on there?

Honestly, I’d say return it and steer clear of sellers with questionable operations like that. The whole situation sounds sketchy. It's better to be safe than sorry. You really don’t want to risk having compromised software on your device.

I didn’t check the seller's info until things went wrong, and now I’m stuck with the phone. What do I do about my accounts and card info? What should I look out for?
