Should I Sell My MacBook Pro to Upgrade to a New PC Build?

Hey everyone! I've been using my MacBook Pro for quite some time now, and while I've enjoyed its design and the Apple ecosystem, I'm starting to feel like it's not the best fit for my needs anymore. My battery life isn't what it used to be, and I could really use something a bit more specialized for my workflow, which involves 3D modeling, rendering, and some video editing. The performance is decent, but I find the keyboard frustrating, and I feel like I'm paying too much for the Apple name when I could get better specs elsewhere.

I'm considering selling my MacBook and switching to a PC setup that I've been eyeing:
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 7 7700X
- **GPU**: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070
- **Motherboard**: MSI B650 WiFi
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000MHz
- **Storage**: Samsung 980 Pro 1TB NVMe SSD
- **PSU**: Corsair RM750x (750W, 80+ Gold)
- **CPU Cooler**: DeepCool AK620
- **Case**: Huntkey GX750A

All of that for about $1500. So, I want to know, is it worth selling my MacBook Pro to make this switch? I'm looking for some recommendations from anyone who's been in a similar situation! Thanks in advance!

Hey! First off, what's the spec of your current MacBook Pro? If it's an older model (pre-2020), it might not have the best performance. You might also consider getting a newer MacBook Pro if you like macOS, but for gaming and 3D work, a desktop is definitely the way to go. Your PC build looks pretty solid; just make sure you're not overpaying for it. You could find better deals if you shop around a bit or keep an eye on sales! Also, what are you currently using for video editing? That could influence your decision!

Thanks for the info! My MacBook specs are M3 Pro, 18GB RAM, and 512GB storage, if that helps. For my workflow, I'm doing mostly 3D modeling and some graphic design. I love the Mac feel, but I'm leaning towards performance now!
