My motherboard recently died, and I got a refund for it. I'm looking to replace my setup, which includes an RTX 3070, a Ryzen 5 5600X, and 32GB DDR4 RAM. Should I just buy another B550 AM4 motherboard, or is now a good time to upgrade to AM5? I know switching requires investing in a new CPU and DDR5 RAM, so I'm trying to figure out if the performance improvements are worth the extra expense. Also, should I consider selling any of my current components like my GPU or RAM, or is it better to keep them? Any advice would be super helpful. Thanks!

Honestly, I wouldn’t invest in a premium AM4 board since it's an outdated platform. If your current setup works fine for you, consider picking up a more affordable secondhand AM4 board just to tide you over until prices stabilize.
If you're tight on funds, it might be better to stick with a budget-friendly AM4 motherboard for now. There are solid options that won't break the bank and can keep your system running smoothly until DDR5 prices come down.
