Hi everyone! I'm building a new PC and my motherboard comes with a free 32 GB Corsair Vengeance DDR5 CL36 RAM. Initially, I wanted to choose G.Skill Trident DDR5 CL30 RAM instead. I know CL30 is a bit faster, but I'm thinking about saving the $100 difference. Is there a significant performance difference between these two? I've seen that G.Skill has better reviews, but I'm also considering keeping the Corsair set as a backup. What do you think?

I prefer Corsair myself for their overall performance and their light kits. However, when it comes to just raw stats, CL30 is better than CL36; it's just not a huge enough gain to break the bank over.
The actual performance difference in everyday use is going to be minimal—around 1% or even less. Spending that extra $100 for CL30 isn't worth it for most users.
Honestly, if you go for the motherboard bundle with CL36 RAM, don't worry about buying CL30 separately—it just doesn't make sense. Stick with what you're getting or ditch the bundle for something different that suits your needs better.
What CPU are you planning to use? If it's something like an X3D chip, it won’t rely too much on memory speed and timings, so you might be fine sticking with the CL36.
You might see a couple of frames difference, but not enough to justify the $100. I'd definitely just stick with the bundle and use the CL36.
