I'm upgrading my PC because my old setup can't keep up anymore. I'm on a budget and trying to save money where I can. Right now, I have a LIAN LI PC-O11 Dynamic Mid-Tower ATX case. I'm wondering whether to keep it or switch to a Gigabyte C500 case. I would love to hear any cost-saving tips as well.

Quick question before we dive into your main point: do you really need the Ryzen 9 9950X for your tasks? It might be overkill depending on what you’re doing with your new setup!
If you're not planning to use your old PC anymore, disassembling it and using the current case for your new build can save you some cash! Plus, it helps you avoid extra expenses on cases you may not need.
That's a good idea! I'm planning to sell my old parts on FB Marketplace once I finish the upgrade.

I need it for running large models that require multithreading, which my old 5600X struggles with. I’ve heard mixed things about the newer CPUs, so I went with the 9950X to avoid any bottlenecking. Still not sure if it's the best choice with the 10th gen CPUs possibly coming out soon.
