Should I Stick with My NZXT H9 Flow Case or Swap it Out?

Hey everyone! I'm facing a bit of a dilemma with my new build because I realized too late that the NZXT H9 Flow isn't compatible with my Noctua DH15 G2 cooler. Currently, I can close up the case using just the middle fan from the Noctua, and during an AIDA64 test, my CPU temperature averaged around 75°C, with short peaks at 86°C. My CPU is a Core 9 Ultra 285k Series 2. I'm wondering if I should keep this case and add a NF12x25r fan to the front of the Noctua, or should I switch to a bequiet Dark Base 701 that I have on hand? Also, what would happen when I install an RTX 5080 in this setup? Any advice would be appreciated! 🙏

It sounds like you're building a workstation, which means good cooling is essential since the CPU can get stressed during use. You might want to consider either switching your cooler or case. A good AIO cooler could really help manage those temps better, especially since Intel chips tend to run hot.

Honestly, switching to a Ryzen CPU is a solid move. Intel's Core Ultra series doesn't perform that well for gaming compared to Ryzen, leading to lower frame rates. Just something to think about!
