Should I Swap My Palit 5070 Gaming for a PNY 5070 OC?

I recently purchased a Palit 5070 Gaming Pro during a Black Friday sale, but I'm having second thoughts. The store only provides a 12-month warranty for the Palit card, while they offer a 3-year warranty for the PNY 5070 OC, which is the same price. I've come across a lot of threads discussing coil whine issues with the Palit card. Since I haven't opened the box yet, I have the option to swap it for the PNY. What do you think I should do?

You mentioned that the store has a 12-month warranty for the Palit and 3 years for the PNY, right? That's a significant difference. If you're not worried about the coil whine (and since you live in a noisy place, it might not matter), it's worth considering. But make sure the manufacturer warranty is applicable in your country. If the Palit won't cover you well, swapping for the PNY could be the smarter choice.

Just a thought—if you can swing it, why not sell both and upgrade to a 5080? But I hear you; if you're on a budget, swapping the Palit for the PNY sounds like a good call given the warranty.

Honestly, if the performance difference is minimal, I’d say go for the swap. That extra two years of warranty is a nice safety net, especially if you're hearing about issues with coil whine. It could save you a headache down the road if anything goes wrong.
