Should I Switch from 9070XT to 5070Ti?

I recently bought a 9070XT for £650, and I can return it for a full refund since I don't want it anymore. However, I was thinking about getting a 5070Ti instead, which costs £730 and comes with a copy of Doom: The Dark Ages Premium Edition valued at £100. While I might enjoy the game, I'm not super excited about it. My hesitation comes from some of the driver issues Nvidia has been having lately. So, what do you think? Should I return the 9070XT and go for the 5070Ti or stick with my current card?

I'd say go for it! If you can handle the driver issues, the 5070Ti offers features like DLSS4, which are game-changers for a lot of titles. Plus, you might even be able to sell the Doom code for some extra cash!

That's a good point! I heard the code can fetch a decent price if you're not into the game.

Remember, if you pass on the 5070Ti, you can still get all the new tech benefits with AMD too. But if you're looking for ray tracing and DLSS, Nvidia can have some advantages. Just think about what games you want to play in the future.

Yeah, but if ray tracing isn't important to you, then the 9070XT is a solid choice.

I wouldn't make the switch. The 9070XT has been really satisfying for me, and I've had no issues with it. Everyone seems to be having mixed feelings about Nvidia's recent drivers, which could lead to frustration down the line.

Right? I'm also on AMD for years, and my RX 580 has been a reliable card. It's hard to jump ship when you have something solid.

Honestly, just stick with the 9070XT if it's been working well for you. The game bundle is nice, but if you're not super excited about it, it's probably not worth the hassle. Plus, you've already got a solid card in the 9070XT. Why gamble on potential Nvidia driver issues?

Totally agree! If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The 9070XT is a great performer.

If you don't care about the Doom game, just save the money! The 9070XT offers great value for the performance. The hassle of returning might not be worth it, especially if you're satisfied with the 9070XT.
