I just built a new PC and installed Windows on my Samsung SATA 4TB SSD. I have other drives, including a Samsung 990 Pro 4TB NVMe M.2 and a 24TB Seagate Barracuda HDD. When I was installing Windows using a bootable USB, I only saw the SATA SSD as an option for installation. After installation, I had to initialize the other drives and assign letters. I'm curious if that's why the 990 Pro didn't show up as an installation option. I want to boot from the 990 Pro because it would speed up startup. Since I haven't downloaded any games yet, do you think it's worth switching my boot drive now? I found a couple of ways to do this: reinstall Windows using the USB flash drive to select the 990 Pro or cloning the drive. What's the easiest method? Any advice would be appreciated!

From my experience, a fresh install of Windows is usually the best route for a stable setup. Since you haven't customized much yet, I'd recommend reinstalling Windows on the 990 Pro instead of cloning. It might also help to temporarily disconnect the other drives while you install Windows to avoid any problems.

Thanks for the tip! I’ll definitely try unplugging the other drives if I run into issues.
