I'm a student who's been using Linux for a couple of months now, and I've been on vanilla Arch for about a month. I'm currently preparing for some important exams, and I'm wondering if I should switch to Fedora to avoid distractions and minimize the risk of breaking anything. I haven't run into any major issues yet, but I'm concerned about the potential for problems while studying. Also, what distros would you recommend for students besides Ubuntu?

It's probably best to hold off on any major changes until after your exams. Focus on studying, and if you have a stable setup, just stick with it. You’ll avoid unnecessary stress and distractions about breaking things. Once you’re done, you can decide if you want to try something new!
If you're looking for a student-friendly distro, consider trying Mint—it’s known for stability and it's pretty user-friendly. Just remember to keep tinkering to a minimum during your exam prep; it can really sidetrack you!

Thanks for the suggestion! I’ll definitely check out Mint.
