I'm curious about whether it's worth switching to WizTree if I'm already using WinDirStat for disk usage analysis. I've heard some differing opinions on their performance and features. Also, is diskanalyzer.com the best website to download WizTree? Thanks!

Just try both! Download them and see which one works better for you. It's a quick test and you'll get the best sense of their performance yourself.
I've found WizTree to be much faster than WinDirStat. It's a good move if you're having performance issues with the latter. Plus, it’s portable!
I switched to WizTree some time ago because WinDirStat felt slow and heavy. But honestly, give the latest version of WinDirStat a shot; it’s been improved a lot!
For personal use, WizTree is great, but it's not open-source like WinDirStat. The advantages are significant if you're on Windows since it reads the MFT directly, making it much faster.
But the new version of WinDirStat can read the MFT as well, so it’s worth checking out.
