I'm currently using a 4070 Super and gaming at 1440P. I'm satisfied with its performance, but I'm considering upgrading to a 5070 Ti because I eventually want to switch to a 4K monitor. With GPU prices potentially rising due to the AI boom, I think this might be a good time to invest in new hardware. I'd love to hear your thoughts and advice on this!

If you’re happy with how your 4070 Super performs, maybe hold off on upgrading. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
It really comes down to your gaming preferences. The 5070 Ti is great for high frame rates at 1440p, but if you want a real immersive 4K experience, you’ll need a bigger screen. Personally, I think OLED and higher refresh rates make a bigger difference than just the resolution.
Upgrading for 4K with a 5070 Ti might not provide the longevity you're hoping for. 4K is demanding, and if you're serious about future-proofing, you should aim for the 5080 or something higher. It's definitely more expensive, but worth considering if you want to stay ahead.
Upgrading to 4K can be pricey, and the 5070 Ti will handle 4K gaming, but don’t expect it to perform like a champ in a few years. Might want to consider a higher tier card for better future-proofing.
Your 4070 Super is already a solid option for 1440p. I don’t think the boost from a 5070 Ti would justify the cost. For real 4K gaming, be prepared to invest a lot more into your setup!

Totally agree. Performance should be your main concern. I only upgraded when my old rig started lagging behind.
