I'm considering upgrading my Ryzen 5 3600 to a Ryzen 5 5800X after recently getting a 5070 to replace my 5700XT. I primarily game at 1440p and aim for high settings to fully utilize my 200Hz monitor. Will this CPU upgrade significantly improve my gaming performance?

Definitely go for the upgrade! I made a jump from a 3700X to a 5900X and saw a noticeable boost in performance at both 1080p and 1440p, especially in terms of those pesky 1% lows. If you can, grab a 5800X—it’s worth it!
