Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 7 5700X CPU along with a RTX 2080 GPU and I have 32GB of RAM. I'm about to receive an RX 9070 XT and I've heard there might be a bottleneck when gaming at 1080p, but supposedly not at 2K or 4K resolutions. Is that accurate? Do I need to consider upgrading my CPU or even my monitor? I mainly play competitive multiplayer games like ARC Raiders, Escape from Tarkov, Deadlock, and Battlefield 6 at 1080p. I'm also curious if playing this way could potentially damage any of my components or if they would just perform below their potential.

While you won't damage anything, your setup will be limited by the CPU. I recommend you go for a high refresh rate 1440p monitor; there are some great mini-LED options available out there that look amazing. It’ll really enhance your gaming experience!
You’re all good, no need to upgrade anything right now! But with the new GPU, you might really enjoy getting a better monitor. A lot of users have found that their systems run way better at 4K with new hardware.

Thanks for the advice! I'm definitely leaning toward the new screen since prices are reasonable right now.
