I'm looking to upgrade my PC gradually and I'm not quite sure where to start. Currently, I have an Intel Core i5 4590, 16GB of DDR3 RAM, a GTX 1060 with 6GB, and a 500W PSU. I'm already planning to upgrade my PSU to 600W. My main concern is whether it's okay to pair the RTX 3050 (which I was considering) with my i5 4590. Will the performance be bottlenecked and could that bottleneck harm my PC?

Honestly, I'd skip the RTX 3050 and look at other options like the RX 6600 or the XT version. They'll give you more bang for your buck and cost about the same! If you're set on Nvidia, the RTX 3060 with a Ryzen 5 5500 might be better for you.
