I'm currently using a Ryzen 5 5600X and an RTX 4060 Ti with 16GB of RAM. I'm trying to decide between upgrading my CPU and motherboard to a Ryzen 5 9600X and a B850, or should I go for a new GPU like the RTX 5070? Which option would give me the most noticeable performance upgrade for the money?

While upgrading to the B850/9600X requires DDR5 RAM, if you're mainly gaming, the GPU upgrade is likely your best bet. It's just the smarter move for gaming right now.

For the best bang for your buck, upgrade the GPU! Your CPU is a bit outdated too, but you'll have to replace a lot of parts for that. With RAM prices as they are, going for a new GPU makes the most sense.

Honestly, just get the GPU. If you're thinking about getting a better monitor, like 1440p or even 4K, it'll make a big difference in your gaming experience!

I'd say definitely go for the GPU upgrade! It will provide a bigger boost in gaming performance compared to upgrading your CPU right now.
