I've been away from the hardware scene since 2020 and just got a 5070ti. I'm not sure if my Ryzen 3700x paired with an ASUS TUF X570 motherboard will bottleneck the GPU. What should I consider upgrading? I'm aiming for a budget of around $1000, and I plan to game in 4K resolution.

Honestly, your 3700x should still hold up pretty well. If you really want a quick boost, you could upgrade to a Ryzen 5600. If you’re looking for the best option, a 5700X3D is great but really pricey. Just keep in mind that at 4K, your 5070ti might be the bottleneck in performance.
People often wonder why not stick with what works, so don't stress too much about rushing into upgrades!
I’ve used a 3080 at 4K with DLSS on high settings and got decent frames, so I wonder if the 5070ti might actually do just fine too!
