I built a PC about a year ago for around $500, and I'm starting to wonder if it's time for some upgrades. My RAM is a bit low at 16GB, and while I know I definitely need to upgrade that, I'm also curious about my GPU. Here are my current specs:

- **GPU**: EVGA RTX 3060 Ti
- **CPU**: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X (6 Core/12 Threads)
- **RAM**: Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 DDR4 3200 MHz, 16GB
- **STORAGE**: 500GB NVMe + 1TB NVMe
- **MOTHERBOARD**: Gigabyte B550M DS3H AC
- **PSU**: Coolermaster 650W
- **MISC**: ID cooling SE, Asia horse black extension, Apevia Prism Matx Case, Windows 11 Pro

With my setup, do you think upgrading to a new GPU is worth it? And should I stick to the same brand for my RAM upgrade?

It really depends on what you want to achieve! If you're gaming at 1080p, your RTX 3060 Ti should still hold up fine for most titles. But if you're looking to play more demanding games or want higher frame rates, it might be worth considering a GPU upgrade. For RAM, going up to 32GB would definitely help with performance, especially if you're multitasking or doing other demanding tasks! Just make sure the RAM you choose is compatible with your motherboard, but you don’t necessarily have to stick to the same brand; as long as the specs match up, you should be good!

Yeah, exactly! Just check the speed and timings when mixing RAM. You might not see a huge performance boost from a GPU upgrade yet, but it'll definitely extend the lifespan of your system.
