Should I Upgrade My GPU? Comparing Performance Options

Hey everyone! Hope you're all doing well. I wanted to share my PC specs: I've got an i7-14700 CPU, ASUS PRIME Z790-P motherboard, 32GB of DDR5 6000 RAM, an ASUS 4070 Ti Super GPU, ZALMAN ALPHA2 A36 AIO cooler, a Cougar GLE 850W PSU, Cougar MX600 RGB case, and storage with three NVMe SSDs (one 256GB ADATA LEGEND 710 and two 1TB ADATA LEGEND 900 PRO).

I'm considering whether it's worth switching my video card to an RTX 4080 Super, a 5070 Ti, or even a 5080, strictly for performance. If there's anything better for performance than the 4090 or 5090, I'd love to hear your thoughts! Thanks in advance for your help!

Based on what I've seen, the difference in performance may not justify the cost of an upgrade right now. You can check out the performance comparisons to see if the newer cards are really worth it for your specific needs. My opinion? Stick with what you have for now unless you really need that extra power.

Honestly, I think your current setup is solid enough. The upcoming 60 series cards might have better value, and aside from the 5080 and 5090, the other 5000 series options don't seem to offer much more than your 40 series GPU.
