I have a five-year-old PC with an i7-11700K CPU, an RTX 3070 GPU, and 64GB of 3200MHz RAM. I recently upgraded to an Odyssey G9 57" monitor primarily for productivity, but now I want to use it for gaming too. Would upgrading to a 5070 Ti make a significant difference, or would my CPU and RAM bottleneck the performance? Should I just wait and save for an entirely new build instead?

Honestly, stick with just the GPU upgrade for now. The i7-11700K is still a solid CPU, and doing a full overhaul would be costly. As long as your power supply has the right wattage, you should be good to go with the new GPU!
If you're near a Microcenter, you can find some great deals on CPU, motherboard, and RAM combos. I was in a similar situation with my 3080, but I upgraded to an AM5 setup instead of going all-out right away. It's much cheaper to upgrade parts over time!
I would actually recommend considering a whole new build at this point. Prices are dropping, and newer technology can offer better future-proofing for your setup. But if you're on a budget, just upgrading the GPU could be a decent temporary fix.
Upgrading to a 5070 Ti would definitely improve your gaming experience! Your CPU is still quite strong and should handle most games well, so a GPU upgrade alone will make a big difference. Just make sure your power supply can support the new graphics card before you buy it!
And don't forget about the PSU connector! If you get the 5070 Ti, make sure your power supply is up to ATX 3.1 standards to avoid any compatibility issues.
