I'm currently using an MSI B450 Tomahawk Max with a Ryzen 7 5800X3D and an RTX 5080. I've noticed that games are getting larger and I need more storage, but my motherboard only has one M.2 slot. B550 motherboards are quite affordable now, and I'm considering getting an MSI MAG B550 Tomahawk MAX Wifi for about 65,000 HUF (around 167 Euros or 196 USD). However, moving to a new platform like AM5 would mean buying a new CPU, motherboard, and RAM, which would be costly. What do you all think I should do?

If you can swing the budget for a full upgrade, now's a great time, especially since you’ll be replacing the motherboard anyway. Just keep in mind that you won't get any more performance out of your current AM4 setup. But if you're content with your CPU's performance, holding off and getting a PCI m.2 adapter could be a cheaper and effective solution to buy you some time with your 5800X3D.
Why not just go for a m.2 to PCIe adapter? It’s a quick fix and a lot cheaper than upgrading your motherboard just for that extra slot.

Exactly! That's a smart choice.
