I'm considering an upgrade from my current setup with a 3060 Ti and an i5 11600K to a RX 7900 XT and a 7800X3D. My concern is whether I should go for AM5 and DDR5 technology or hold off since I'm worried about the next generation dropping soon. Is now a good time for an upgrade, or should I wait?

Zen 6 and Intel's Nova Lake are expected to bring a significant performance boost compared to the current generation, but they won't be out for a while. Right now, the prices on most components are decent, except for RAM and NVMe, which have been creeping up lately.

That's good to know! But how long do you think the wait will be? I've heard AMD has something planned, and I'm trying to stay patient, but I really want to build my PC!
