I bought my gaming PC about three years ago, and while I mainly game at 1080p, I'm wondering if it's worth it to make any upgrades now or if I should consider buying a new one altogether. Here are my specs:
- CPU: i5-11400f 2.60GHz
- GPU: Gigabyte 3060 RTX 12GB
- Motherboard: B560 DS3H AC-Y1
- RAM: G.SKILL Ripjaws V Series 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4 3200
- SSD: Intel SSDPEKNW512G8
If you need any more details, just let me know!

It really depends on your budget. If you’re looking to upgrade, a faster video card might be an option, but prices are pretty steep right now and there's limited stock out there. Just keep that in mind!
Do you have a Microcenter nearby? If not, where do you live? Also, I need to know if this is a prebuilt PC and the brand and wattage of your PSU. Your motherboard only supports up to 11th gen CPUs, which can be overpriced. I’d recommend building a new PC with your 3060 and holding off on a GPU upgrade until prices drop. Let me know the PSU details so I can help more!
The nearest Microcenter is about 100 miles away. The PC is prebuilt, and I'll find out the PSU details from my dad later when he gets home.
My budget is around $300. I was also considering selling my PC and adding some cash to get a better used one, but I’m not sure how to check which upgrades would fit my current setup.
