I'm currently using 16GB of DDR4 RAM and have an additional 8GB stick of the same speed but different model from the same manufacturer. Most of the time, my RAM usage is around 8-12GB while gaming, but I'm curious if adding the extra RAM would boost my performance even though I'm not maxing it out. Should I install the 8GB stick or just sell it for about 50-70€?

What games are you playing? Honestly, it sounds like you’re good with just 16GB. If RAM issues do pop up, they usually show up as stuttering or crashes during gameplay.
Mixing different RAM kits can sometimes cause instability, especially when using XMP/DOCP profiles. It might be worth testing the extra stick, but just be prepared for possible manual adjustments to get it running smoothly. Remember, if you're not using the RAM, it's essentially wasted.

Right now, I’m playing games like Robocop Rogue City and Spiderman, but mostly older titles from 2010-2018.
