Should I Upgrade My RAM to 3200MHz or Stick with 2400MHz?

I'm purchasing a new computer that comes with 16GB of 2400MHz RAM. I plan to add more RAM in the future, but I'm unsure about the best route to take. Should I keep the 16GB of 2400MHz RAM and add a second stick of the same type later, or should I sell the 2400MHz RAM and invest in 32GB of 3200MHz RAM? I'm particularly interested in knowing if it's worth it to buy 2x16GB instead of just 1x16GB and if the performance difference between 2400MHz and 3200MHz is significant. My primary uses will be gaming and video editing.

I’d actually recommend going for 2x8GB at 2400MHz instead of just 1x16GB at 3200MHz. You can use the 2x8 for now, and when you’re ready, upgrade to 2x16GB at 3200MHz and sell the old RAM. It'll give you better performance as dual-channel memory is usually faster.

Thanks! With all the current RAM prices, do you think investing in 2x16GB at 3200MHz makes sense for gaming and editing?
