I currently own an RX 6700 XT and I'm looking to upgrade my graphics card. I play games at a resolution of 3440 x 1440 on an ultrawide monitor and have a budget of around 500 Euros. My options are the RTX 5070, RTX 4070 Ti, and RX 7900 XT. I checked out the new AMD 9070 and XT models, but those are significantly more expensive, priced around 800-900 Euros. Which of these options would be the best choice for me? Are there any other alternatives I should consider?

I would recommend looking into a used RX 7900 XT if you're planning on sticking with this setup for a while. It does struggle with ray tracing, but if you turn that off or set it to low, it typically outperforms others in its price range, plus it comes with 20GB of VRAM!
I’d steer clear of the 7000 series from AMD. They don’t support FSR 4 and newer games really benefit from upscaling, which FSR 4 does much better. If you can hold off, waiting for the RTX 5070 Super might be worthwhile. If you're in a rush, then the 5070 or RX 9070 would be more beneficial right now than the 7900 XT, which feels like a dead-end upgrade path.
But if the 5070 Super comes out, it's definitely going to be over 500 Euros, so I think going with the current 5070 is still a solid choice.
Out of your choices, the RTX 5070 seems like the best bet. It's a solid card for gaming at your resolution without breaking the bank!
I'd say the RTX 5070 is the best value for you right now. If the 9070 would chill out on its pricing, then it'd be a contender, but for the price and performance, 5070 wins!
Actually, there won't be a 5070 Super with 16GB, it'll likely have 18GB since they will just use different memory sizes.
