I'm currently using a 9800X3D with a 2080 Super for gaming at 1440p, but I'm having trouble reaching 144fps in most games. I have a budget of 700GBP for a GPU upgrade and I'm considering the 5070 Ti. However, I'm hesitant to commit to it right now as I'm not in a rush and want to avoid making a poor decision. Is the 5070 Ti worth buying now, or should I hold out for a new release? I'm not really interested in moving to AMD and I don't see many appealing options from NVIDIA at the moment.

Honestly, is the 5070 Ti even a real upgrade? I'm a bit skeptical about that.
Definitely! The 5070 Ti is designed to outperform the 2080 Super and should offer a significant upgrade, especially at higher resolutions.
Considering GPU launches, we're at a midpoint right now. If you can hold off for around 6 months, it might be worth it. Otherwise, the 5070 Ti is a good choice for immediate upgrade.
The 5070 Ti seems like a solid pick within your budget. If you're okay with waiting, there are some rumors about a new Super series coming out later this year that might offer more VRAM, making them potentially a better deal when they arrive.

Absolutely! I've upgraded from a 3070 Ti to the 5070 Ti, and there's a noticeable performance boost, especially at 1440p. The increased VRAM really helps with demanding games.
