Hey everyone! I'm currently running a Ryzen 5 3600X paired with an RX 580 and I'm considering upgrading my graphics card to something with more than 8GB of VRAM for better performance in modern AAA games like the latest Battlefield. I've been looking into options like the RX 6750XT or 6700XT, but they seem tough to find and are a bit pricey. On the other hand, I've spotted the RX 9060XT with 16GB of VRAM at a decent price. I've heard mixed things about potential CPU bottlenecking, so I'm curious if it's better to wait for a 6700 or if the 9060 would work well with my setup, especially since I game at 1080p. What do you think?

I’d recommend going for the 9060XT with 16GB. There might be some minor bottlenecking in CPU-heavy games, but the upgrade is still worth it. And you can always plan for a CPU upgrade later to balance things out.
Your motherboard is likely holding back performance since it’s probably a PCIe 3.0 board. Do you know the exact model of your motherboard? Just curious because that could impact how the new GPU performs!
Honestly, I’d stop worrying too much about bottlenecking. That term just creates unnecessary panic! The 9060XT will work great with your system. Plus, if you notice any performance issues later, you can always upgrade your CPU down the line. A used 5600X is also super affordable and would fit right in after a simple BIOS update.
B450, if that’s what you’re asking, so it’s definitely PCIe 3.0.
