Should I upgrade to AM4 or AM5 for my next PC build?

I'm currently running an old 4670k that I've maxed out with overclocking, and I'm itching for an upgrade. I'm looking at either the AMD 5700X or the 7500F since I play games like Apex and League of Legends. I really want to hit a stable 60 FPS in newer single-player games. However, with RAM prices being so high, there's a significant cost difference of about 30-40,000 rubles. What do you think is the best approach? Is it wise to stick with an AM4 setup without worrying about future upgrades, or should I spend more for an AM5 in hopes of upgrading later?

If you plan to hold onto your new build as long as your 4670k, AM5 might not even give you the upgrade paths you’re hoping for. It may end up feeling obsolete just like the AM4 in the future.

Why not consider the 14600K with a B760 DDR4 motherboard? It could be a great alternative if you're looking for balance between performance and price.

I’d recommend snagging a used AM4 motherboard and CPU for now. Then, when RAM prices drop, you can switch to AM5. It's a cost-effective strategy!

That's a smart idea! This way you don’t tie up too much money right now.

The 5700X would definitely give you a solid 60 FPS in both League and Apex. It’s a strong option for your gaming needs!

You could also go for a 13600K and a DDR4 board, or the 14 if they're almost the same price. Just keep an eye on the overall costs!
