I'm currently using an RTX 3060 Ti and I'm thinking about upgrading my GPU. I've been having issues playing games at 1440p, especially with titles like Final Fantasy XVI, which stutters even when settings are dialed down. I also have concerns about VRAM since some of the newer titles like Monster Hunter Wilds and Oblivion Remastered seem to require more than 8GB to run smoothly, and I don't see that changing with future patches.
The RTX 5070 seems to be a good upgrade considering its price-to-performance ratio here in Brazil. However, I've heard discussions about a potential 5070 Super with 18GB of VRAM. Should I take the plunge and buy the 5070 now, or would it be wise to wait and see if the Super variant gets released? I'm just worried that 12GB might not be enough for future gaming needs. Is it too much speculation to hold out for the 5070 Super?

If you're looking for more than 12GB of VRAM, keep in mind that AMD options might give you more GB for your buck. But yeah, I get it—prices can vary a lot, especially in Brazil. Ultimately, if you need an upgrade now, don’t hesitate to go with the 5070.
Yeah, AMD just doesn't seem to be as accessible for me either right now!
