Should I Upgrade to Intel 14th Gen or Stick with My AMD 5700X for My ITX Build?

I'm planning to downsize to an ITX build and since I need to get a new motherboard anyway, I was wondering if it would be wise to upgrade from my current AMD 5700X to a 14th gen Intel CPU. I've been keeping an eye on RAM prices and don't think they'll drop anytime soon. I'm currently using a 5070 Ti with a 2K ultrawide monitor, and I'm primarily gaming, not really doing any content creation. Should I make the jump to Intel, or should I stick with AMD?

Going for an Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU is usually a solid choice. I’d recommend looking at the 14400, which gives you a bit more performance than the 5700X with its higher core count and larger cache. Plus, being a newer generation, it might be better suited for current standards and protocols. Just weigh the cost against what you already have.

You do realize there have been reports of some voltage issues with the Intel 14th gen CPUs, right? Just checking since that could be something to consider in your decision.
