I'm trying to figure out whether I should keep using my Ryzen 5 5600 with my new RTX 5070, or if I should invest in a Ryzen 7 5700X3D right now. Some people say the 5700 will bottleneck my GPU, so I'm wondering if it's better to save up for an AM5 platform instead. What do you think?

Honestly, your Ryzen 5 5600 is still a solid CPU. You can totally use your system as is for now. It's not like it can't handle games well enough. Just enjoy your new GPU!
Keep in mind that prices for the 5700X3D might not be the best right now since AMD isn't making them anymore. You could probably just run with what you have until the new deals come out.
If you do decide to upgrade, consider checking out bundles at places like MicroCenter. You can get a lot of value there rather than just picking up a CPU on its own.
It's all about the resolution you're playing at. If you're gaming at 1440p, the difference between your 5600 and a 5700X3D might not be noticeable unless you're aiming for max FPS. I'd just stick with your current setup unless you've got specific games that benefit greatly from the upgrade.
Exactly! The GPU often becomes the bottleneck, especially at higher resolutions, so focus on enjoying the graphics.
I suggest using your setup now and saving up for an AM5 platform. Next-gen builds are right around the corner, and it might be worth waiting for them instead of upgrading now to something like the 5700X3D.
If you're still on the fence, wait until the end of the year. If you can save up enough by then, going for the AM5 would be the smarter choice!
But if you can score a Ryzen 7 or 5800X3D for a good price, it could really boost your performance in some titles!
