Should I worry about my CPU cooler setup?

I recently bought a new CPU cooler based on some recommendations, but I ran into an issue. My RAM is quite tall, so I had to reposition the front fan higher to avoid it touching the RAM. Now I'm concerned about whether this setup might negatively impact the cooler's performance or if everything will be fine. What do you think?

It's totally fine as long as you're keeping an eye on your temperatures. How do they look under load?

I haven't tested it yet. I was a bit hesitant to risk anything, but I'm planning to run some benchmarks later today.

If it were me, I would just reposition the fan to the other side to exhaust air out. However, it should work perfectly fine as it is.

Honestly, it should be just fine. Get a CPU temperature monitor and check them under load. As long as you're under 90 degrees and the noise level is okay, you're good. You might lose about 3 degrees of cooling, but it won't affect performance in a meaningful way.

Yes, it might be slightly affected, but you shouldn’t need to change your cooler. You could try swapping the fan to a pull configuration instead of push if you're looking to optimize it more.

In most cases, relocating the fan will only change your temperature by about half a degree Celsius. If your temperatures while monitoring are okay, then you're all set!
