I'm a software engineer thinking about studying for CCNA, MCSA, and MCSE certifications. I'm curious whether these certifications would provide any real advantages in my career, especially since I'm aiming to transition into system-related roles down the line.

MCSA and MCSE have actually been retired, so they're probably not worthwhile anymore. On the other hand, CCNA can be pretty useful since networking knowledge is always beneficial. But if you're already a software engineer, I'd guess you're familiar with a lot of the networking concepts like the TCP/IP stack, HTTP/S, and sockets.
I know a software engineer who doesn't hold any of those certs. Generally, those certifications lean more towards operations rather than software engineering. You might want to check out the AWS Solutions Architect Associate instead; it's more relevant for DevOps.
