I think I messed up my PC after a download I did from Google (definitely not my best decision). My Windows system suddenly force-updated and restarted, but ever since, my taskbar has been super slow to respond; it takes about 15 seconds to show up! When I click the Windows button on the taskbar or press the Windows key on my keyboard, nothing happens. I can only right-click, which feels really off. I also can't update Windows any more because I get an error in the settings, and my Nvidia drivers won't update either since the app doesn't load the update page. I did a malware scan with Malwarebytes, and it found around 20 threats that I quarantined. To make matters worse, my Steam account got hacked right after the download, but I'm trying to recover it through Steam support. If anyone has any ideas on how I can fix this, please let me know because I'm really stuck!

Honestly, at this point, I would recommend just reinstalling Windows. You'll need a different computer to create a Windows media tool or use Rufus to make an ISO for the reinstall. It sounds drastic, but if you can't figure out how to fix the current issues, it might be the best move.

Can I do this without losing all my files and games?
