Hey everyone! I just bought an RX 5600 XT and I'm having trouble booting into Linux Mint unless I use the "nomodeset" option in GRUB. It's the same story with Endeavour OS. If I don't use this option, all I get is a black screen after booting. I did a fresh install of Mint with that command. So, my question is: what should I do now? Should I stick with having 'nomodeset' in GRUB? I've been using Linux for a few years, but I'm no expert, so any guidance would be appreciated. Additionally, I tried using 'amdgpu.modeset=0' in GRUB, but that resulted in the same black screen. I've searched all over online but haven't found a solution yet.

You might want to try editing the GRUB settings at the boot screen. When you see the GRUB menu, press 'E' to edit the boot options, and remove any entries like "splash quiet". After that, press F10 to boot. This way, you can see any error messages that occur and troubleshoot further. Let us know what you find!
