I'm really having a tough time picking a Linux distribution! I've tried a few, but nothing feels quite right. I enjoy using KDE for its customization options. While I had a great experience with EndeavourOS, it was frustrating when some apps just weren't supported. I also attempted to install KDE on Linux Mint, but it ended up being buggy and didn't run smoothly like EndeavourOS did. Kubuntu was similar—buggy and not that reliable. I'm not into gaming but need something that allows me to easily install a VPN and other applications without too much hassle. What should I do?

Definitely consider Fedora with KDE! It's known for good support and up-to-date packages. Plus, the community is pretty helpful.
You might want to explore OpenSUSE Tumbleweed if you're looking for a rolling release with plenty of software options. If stability's your priority, Debian with KDE is a classic choice. Either way, you’ll find plenty to love!
Yeah, Debian has a huge repository, and you can't go wrong with it!
I'd suggest trying out Debian stable with KDE. It's super reliable for work and personal use, although it may require a bit more setup. Alternatively, Fedora with KDE is also a solid option!
Did you install KDE on a regular Debian or is there a specific version for KDE?
Yeah! A lot of people rave about Debian's stability. If you're into experimenting, trying out various distros in a VM could be a fun way to learn.
If you want a large selection of software, consider going back to Endeavour or trying Fedora. They both have fantastic user support and they'll help you get up and running without a ton of hassle. Ubuntu can be great too, but I've found it can break easily compared to Arch-based distros.
True! I've found that every distro has its quirks, but sticking with one and getting to know it can really pay off.
Agreed, it's all about finding what suits you! Maybe a VM setup could lessen the pressure.
What kind of apps are you missing? Knowing that could really help narrow down the recommendations. Endeavour should have a good software selection since it’s Arch-based.

I've heard OpenSUSE is really good, especially with rolling updates. What made you switch from Arch?
