Hey everyone! I recently decided to build my own PC, and I'm really excited about it. However, I ran into a snag when I tried to seat the motherboard in the case. The IO ports just don't seem to fit properly, even though everything looks like it should align. Am I missing something here? Any tips or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Have you tried flipping the motherboard around? Sometimes they can be a bit tricky, but the fit could be better if you rotate it a bit. Just make sure all the alignment points match up before you force it in.
Did you remember to take out the case's backplate? If the case has a removable backplate and you haven't switched it out with the one that came with your motherboard, it could be blocking the IO ports from fitting right.
I think I might have missed that! I didn’t notice any backplate options, so maybe I need to look at the case again to see if it’s stuck or something.
I doubt it can go in any other way. The motherboard is usually designed to fit only one way, but it can be a snug fit. Just double-check that the screw holes are lining up properly.
