I just picked up a 5060 Ti, but I'm having a tough time getting my old GPU out of the motherboard. I've already removed the screws and the power cable, but despite that, it seems stuck. I'm using an MSI B450M A Pro Max motherboard, and I couldn't find much in the documentation. Is it supposed to require this much effort to push the lever down for removal? I'm starting to worry I'm not doing it right!

Don't forget about the latch on the right side of the PCI-E slot. It needs to be fully disengaged to get the GPU out. If you’re still having trouble after that, it might just be a stubborn slot!
Without seeing it, it's hard to be certain. Have you tried gently wiggling the GPU side to side while you push the lock? Just be patient, as those locks can be a bit finicky, and they might break if forced too hard.
You shouldn't need to apply too much force to get the GPU out. Make sure you're also pulling out the old GPU while pushing the lever down. It's different from RAM slots; there's no real eject feature, just a bit of wiggle and pull! Take your time so you don't break anything.
It can vary! Some PCI slots can be a real pain to deal with and need a significant amount of force. Just be cautious and make sure you've removed everything else before applying too much pressure.

Yeah, I was referring to that latch. It just feels like I'm going to break something when I push too hard!
