Hey everyone! I recently picked up the AMD 7700XT GPU, but I'm really disappointed with its performance. I keep hearing it should handle ray tracing in most games, but for me, things quickly become unplayable, even when I lower the settings. I also just got the AMD 7600X3D processor and I'm using 16GB of DDR5 RAM on a single stick. My gaming resolution is set to 1440p, but it feels like I'm not getting the performance I expected. Both my GPU and CPU are set to auto overclock, and temperatures are normal, so I'm wondering if I'm missing something to really get the most out of my setup.

What kind of performance are you actually experiencing? It sounds pretty rough if the average FPS is below 60 on low settings. That choppiness must be frustrating!
First off, make sure your monitor is connected directly to the GPU and not to the motherboard. What games are you trying to play, and what kind of FPS are you seeing? This info can really help troubleshoot your issue!
Yes, my display is plugged into the GPU! It does have a DisplayPort connection. When I'm playing Elden Ring with everything maxed out (no ray tracing), I'm getting around 60 FPS, but with ray tracing set low, it drops to about 30-40 FPS, which is just unplayable. I'll try tweaking the settings more and maybe run a benchmark too.

Yeah, it’s been below 60 FPS on many games, even at low settings. And when it does hit 60, it’s so stuttery that it ruins the experience. Games like Elden Ring, Hogwarts, and even LEGO Journey are all struggling; it's been pretty disappointing.
