Struggling with Slow Internet Speed on My Acer Nitro 50

I'm facing a frustrating issue with my Acer Nitro 50 (Model N50-656). I pay for a 1000 Mbps internet plan, but I'm only getting speeds between 10 to 100 Mbps. I've experienced significant packet loss as well. I've tried troubleshooting, and while other devices maintain a good connection, my laptop struggles with various adapters. Here's what I've tested so far: A USB-C to Ethernet connection works fine, but both the built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet connections perform poorly. I've updated drivers and disabled various settings to optimize performance, but nothing seems to work. I'd really appreciate any advice or solutions you might have!

Make sure you have the latest drivers installed for your network adapters. It might also be worth attempting a BIOS update to see if that helps. If you're still having issues after that, consider backing up your data and doing a fresh install of your operating system. It might sound daunting, but it could save you time in the long run if the problem persists.

Some users reported having similar problems after a Windows 11 update released in February. You might want to consider rolling back to Windows 10 if this issue continues, as many people prefer it for stability.

Another option to consider is running a Linux Live ISO from a USB drive. This will help you determine whether the issue is hardware or software-related, which can be super helpful in troubleshooting.
