Struggling with Slow WiFi on My PC – Help!

I've been having a tough time with my PC's WiFi speed lately. It's quite old, and while it's slow in a few parts, the WiFi issue is what frustrates me the most. I just tested my speed on Google and got only 9.46 Mbps download and 8.66 Mbps upload, while my phone is hitting upwards of 100 Mbps in the same spot. I've updated the WiFi adapters, and even cleaned out the dust inside the PC with compressed air. I hope I didn't accidentally mess something up when I did that. By the way, my computer is an Alienware Aurora R8. Any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

First, check if the WiFi antennas are securely attached. Sometimes, that's all it takes to boost the connection. If your PC doesn't have external antennas, that might be a problem too!

Yeah, if there are no external antennas, that could be affecting the signal. Maybe consider adding an external USB WiFi adapter?

Have you tried connecting your PC directly with an Ethernet cable? That often gives a much faster connection and helps determine if the WiFi card is the issue.
