Struggling with Windows Installation on My New Gaming PC

I just finished building my first gaming PC and everything seems to be working fine. However, I ran into trouble when trying to install Windows 11. After some initial attempts, I decided to unplug the USB drive to see if I could install Windows 10 instead. Now, I'm stuck on a login screen that says 'other user,' and since I'm using a second-hand SSD, I'm not sure what's going on. The SSD should be empty, but I can't log in at all. Is there a way to reinstall Windows from my USB drive even if I can't access the system?

You should try going into the BIOS setup. From there, you can change the boot order to prioritize the USB drive before the SSD. That should help you boot from the USB and install Windows again.

Thanks for the help! I checked the boot settings, but I might just be missing something. It’s a bit tricky to navigate.

Another option is to wipe the drive completely to prepare for the Windows installation. You can use a SecureErase function that might be in your motherboard's BIOS to do this, which could resolve any issues from previous installations.

Thanks for the tip! I'm not completely sure how to do that since I can't access the PC at all.
