I'm really struggling with my PC crashing during Overwatch 2. It seems to happen only when I'm at the hero select screen, and it shuts down like someone pulled the plug on it. This issue has been getting worse and now it crashes almost every time I load into a game. I can play other demanding games with no problems, and once I get past the hero select, my performance is solid with no crashes. My PC specs are decent, and I've tried various troubleshooting steps, including updating the BIOS, changing the power supply, and checking all cables. I'm even wondering if the RAM might be at fault since it seems tied to the hero selection. Has anyone encountered something like this or know what might be causing these shutdowns? I've opened a ticket with Blizzard too, but in the meantime, I'd love any insights or advice.

I had a similar issue, but it turned out to be a software conflict. Since you mentioned that the crashes are happening during the hero select screen, it might be worth checking for any background programs that might interfere or if your graphics drivers are updated to the latest version. It might also help to run Overwatch as an administrator to see if that makes a difference. Good luck!
Sounds like a frustrating issue! It could be related to overheating, even if your temps are under 75°C. Sometimes, specific processes can spike temperatures without you noticing. Also, check if there's any critical error log in Windows Event Viewer after a shutdown; it might provide clues about what's happening. A faulty RAM stick could also manifest like this, especially during a critical loading phase. Have you tried running a memory test just to rule that out? Overall, it might be worth looking into stress testing components to see if they hold under load.

Thanks for the tips! I haven't done a memory test yet, so I’ll give that a shot. I'll also check the Event Viewer for logs after a shutdown.
