I'm facing a frustrating issue on my Windows 11 computer where I can't download updates. Although my network connection shows that I'm connected to the internet, I keep getting a message saying, "We'll try to download this update once you're connected to the internet." I've already run the Windows Update troubleshooter with no luck. Another odd thing is that in the Network & Internet settings, it indicates I'm not connected, even though other troubleshooters confirm that I am. Has anyone experienced this and knows how to fix it?

Hey! It sounds like your internet is functioning for browsing but there might be something blocking the Windows Update. This could be due to issues with your firewall settings, malware interference, or even a VPN that could be misconfigured. Have you tried disabling any firewalls temporarily to see if that helps? Also, double-check your VPN settings if you're using one. It might be worth looking into those!
Just a quick check: can you open websites without any issues? If you can browse fine, then that points to something specifically blocking the connection to the Windows Update servers. You might need to investigate if anything on your system is preventing that access.
Yeah, I can load websites just fine, but the update downloads still don't work.
