I bought a prebuilt gaming PC from Best Buy about a year ago. It has an Intel Core i7 processor, but I'm looking to switch to an AMD processor. The PC is an iBUYPOWER Y40 Gaming Desktop with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 Super, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 2TB of NVMe storage. How can I determine what motherboard would be compatible with my AMD upgrade?

Don't forget, the case you're using is important too! Make sure the motherboard you choose fits well in your case size-wise.
For your upgrade, I recommend looking into the MSI 870 or 850 motherboards, or even the X570 series if you want something more feature-rich. The X570 boards, like the ACE variant, come with a built-in power button which is super handy if case buttons fail. Plus, they usually have plenty of storage slots and are compatible with many ATX cases and coolers.
If you're interested in high-end specs, check out my build on my page where I posted all my specs. My motherboard could be a solid choice if you're aiming for something like that. Just keep in mind your budget of $500 to $800, that might help narrow it down!
