Hey everyone! I'm building a PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and an MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC. Here are the parts I've picked so far:
- CPU: Ryzen 9800X3D
- Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix X870-F Gaming WIFI
- GPU: MSI RTX 5070 Ti Gaming Trio OC Plus
- RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE RGB DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) DDR5 7200MHz C34
- Cooling: Lian Li TL120 wireless fans and NZXT Kraken Elite 360 RGB AIO
- PSU: ASUS ROG STRIX 1000W Platinum
- Case: Hyte Y60
- SSD: Samsung 990 PRO 2TB
Update: I'm thinking of going for an 850W PSU (considering BQ Purepower 12 or C850) and downgrading the RAM to 6400MHz. I'd love to get any recommendations or suggestions for replacements or improvements on this build!

If budget isn’t an issue, I totally get wanting high-end parts. But remember, sometimes you can get almost the same performance for much less. For example, a RTX 5080 could be a smarter purchase instead of the 5070 Ti if it's in your price range! Still, sticking with high-quality cooling is key if you plan to overclock. I think the Kraken AIO is great, but there are also solid options under $250 that might serve you well! Just make sure you have a solid thermal solution.
You might want to simplify your build a bit. The x870 board and 7200MHz RAM are a bit over the top for most users. An 850W PSU should be fine for your setup, plus you could save some money by opting for a regular Gen 4 SSD instead of the Samsung 990 Pro. For cooling, consider looking at options like Thermalright for a more budget-friendly AIO—there are good models for around $60. Additionally, a decent B650 motherboard should serve your needs well without breaking the bank.
