I'm looking to upgrade my PC for better workflow and gaming, specifically for photo editing with large files in Photoshop and Lightroom. Here's my proposed build:

- Case: be quiet! Pure Base 500
- CPU: Intel Core i7-14700K
- Cooler: be quiet! Dark Rock 5
- Motherboard: GIGABYTE B760 DS3H AX WIFI DDR5
- RAM: 64GB DDR5 RAM 6000 MHz Kingston FURY Beast (2x32GB)
- GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Palit Infinity 3 (DLSS 4 compatible)
- NVMe SSD slot 1: 2000GB ADATA XPG Gammix S70 Blade
- NVMe SSD slot 2: same as slot 1
- PSU: bequiet! System Power 11M - 750W - 80+ Gold
- Storage: 4TB SSD, 8TB HDD
- Operating System: Windows

What would you change about this setup?

This build looks solid! I’d suggest considering a different case for better airflow; the Montech Air 903 Base is a great choice and won’t break the bank. For cooling, the Thermalright Peerless Assassin is another decent option that might be cheaper than the Dark Rock 5. Also, for RAM, aiming for a lower latency around CL30 would improve performance, though it’s not a must-have. Check out Kingston’s site for various options!

Thanks! I’ll definitely check those out. How crucial is better airflow, though? Just a minor improvement or significant?
