I'm looking for feedback on my PC build aimed at VR gaming in 4K with a Quest 3. I want to keep it around the same price. Here's what I've got so far:
- CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D
- Motherboard: ROG STRIX B850I
- GPU: MSI Ventus GeForce RTX 5080 16G VENTUS 3X OC PLUS
- Memory: Kingston FURY Beast White RGB 64GB 6000MT/s
- SSD: Predator M.2 SSD 2TB GM7000
- PSU: Corsair sf850
- Cooler: Corsair Nautilus 240 RS ARGB
- Case: JONSBO Z20
Any suggestions for improvements or alternatives?

Your build looks pretty good to me! If it’s running fine with what you've got, you might not need to change anything.
Honestly, you have a killer CPU and a solid GPU! I can't say much about making it faster, but you might save some cash by swapping out parts for less expensive alternatives without sacrificing too much performance.
It's a strong build, but I think the CPU and RAM are a bit excessive. A Ryzen 7 7800X3D could handle the GPU just fine, and 32GB of RAM should be enough for gaming. You could also save money by choosing a less expensive motherboard. Plus, I’d suggest upgrading to a 1000W PSU if you're planning to push the limits, but honestly, your current setup shouldn’t even hit 500W.
But with that CPU and GPU, you won't draw near 500W during gaming, even at max settings. So a standard 850W should be perfectly fine.
