Hey everyone! I'm currently using a GTX 1070 with an 600W AXP 600r14 PSU and an Intel Core i7 7700K. I'm considering upgrading my graphics card, but I'm kinda lost when it comes to figuring out what options I have. Can anyone share their thoughts on which graphics cards would be compatible with my setup?

You've got a few options! You can get a newer graphics card, but something like the RTX 3000 series might be the best without spending too much. Just keep in mind that your i7 being a quad-core could hold back performance a bit.

If you decide to go for a CPU upgrade, you’ll need to swap out your motherboard too, since they use different sockets, and you might need new RAM as well. That could add up depending on the graphics card and CPU you choose to go with, plus possibly a stronger PSU or cooler too.

You might want to think about upgrading your CPU too because a new graphics card could be bottlenecked by your current setup. Let me know your budget, and I can suggest something! Just a heads up, upgrading the CPU means you'd also need a new motherboard.

Oh, I didn't realize it was such a big deal. I was looking at a budget of around $400-500.

Why do you need a new motherboard for the CPU upgrade?
